the promotion 1 weapon acquisition reflects that of Tele-Arena Platinum 1.01 but has been modified...

upon reaching level 1 of the first promotion you can go to a specific dungeon that has lair spawns that match
the classes in the game... Dwarven Knight, Dwarven Arch Magus, etc... and upon killing one of them there is a 10% chance it will drop your promotion weapon. the lairs are not static and as each one respawns it will be a random single spawn of the class again, and upon killing it, you can be in a group, but you must land the killing blow to trigger the drop. Also, after acquiring it one time, if you ever lose it and need to acquire it again, it will be a 100% drop chance. Now, this weapon can never be dropped, given, or placed in storage, the only way to lose it is upon death.
